Trusted Steam Trap Manufacturer
Reliable Steam Trap
- Help maintain steam where it’s needed
- Improve energy efficiency by maximizing heat use
Quality Control
The PMI test checks the steam trap’s material composition, confirming it meets required standards for dependable performance in steam systems.
PMI Test
The sealing test examines the steam trap’s closure, making sure it prevents leaks and maintains effective pressure in different applications.
Sealing Test
The low emission test detects potential leaks, helping to minimize harmful gas or fluid release into the environment.
Low Emission Test
The impact test assesses the steam trap’s durability, confirming it withstands sudden force or pressure changes without damage.
Impact Test
The dimension inspection verifies each part’s measurements, allowing all components to fit precisely for smooth, reliable operation.
Dimension Inspection
The painting thickness test measures coating depth, protecting the steam trap from corrosion and extending its durability in tough environments.
Painting Thickness Test
PT, or penetrant testing, identifies small surface cracks or flaws, highlighting areas needing repair to enhance safety and quality.
PT
The material inspection checks raw materials’ quality, confirming they handle the pressure and temperature demands of steam applications safely.

Our Valve Applications in Key Industries
Steam traps remove condensate effectively, helping maintain optimal temperatures and supporting efficient chemical reactions in processing facilities.
Chemical Processing
In the petrochemical industry, steam traps manage condensate in high-temperature systems, improving equipment longevity.
Petrol Chemical
Steam traps operate reliably under extreme temperatures and pressures, supporting safe and efficient power generation in nuclear and power facilities.
O.P.G & Nuclear
Steam traps help regulate temperature by removing unwanted condensate, making them ideal for high-demand pulp processing applications.
Pulp
Mining operations use steam traps to remove condensate from steam systems, enhancing safety and efficiency in bumpy environments.
Mining
In water treatment facilities, steam traps aid in temperature management, supporting processes that rely on steady steam flow and heat control.
Water & Sewage
Steam traps maintain efficient steam systems by eliminating excess condensate, which keeps equipment operating smoothly and effectively.
Steam System
In boiling systems, steam traps remove condensate, providing consistent heat levels and supporting safe and efficient operation at high temperatures.

How Do Steam Traps Work?
- A rolling ball valve
- Duplex control with thermostatic bellows for automatic air-venting
Control
Ideal for automatic air-venting. They feature thermostatic bellows and are great for systems handling large amounts of condensate.
For systems that don’t need bellows, these traps come with a hand-vent valve. They are suited for cold condensates, distillates, superheated steam, gas, or compressed air lines.
Installation and Features
- Float lifting lever
- Sightglass cover
- Hand vent valve (for Duplex control traps)

Applications of Steam Traps
- Drip Applications: When steam cools down and starts turning into water (condensate), a steam trap is used to remove this water.
- Process Applications: In heat exchangers or radiators, steam traps help remove water and air, making the heat transfer process work better.
- Tracing Applications: Steam traps are used in steam tracing systems to remove water that forms in the pipes during the process.

Features of Steam Trap
Automatic Air Venting
Steam traps often include an automatic air venting feature that helps remove air from the system, allowing for unobstructed steam flow. Here's the interesting part. This feature is crucial for maintaining efficient heat transfer and preventing air pockets from reducing system performance. Automatic air venting allows the system to reach optimal temperatures quickly.
Backpressure Tolerance
Steam Traps are engineered to tolerate backpressure, which is the resistance against the flow of condensate within the system. This feature allows the Steam Trap to function effectively even in situations where pressure conditions fluctuate, providing consistent performance and preventing potential system disruptions.
Compact Design
The compact design of Steam Traps allows for easy installation in various systems, even where space is limited. It can fit seamlessly into a small boiler room without requiring extensive modifications. This design feature makes them versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. The compact size also facilitates maintenance, as it is easier to access and service the traps in tight spaces.
Benefits of Steam Trap
Reduced Maintenance Costs
Steam Traps help lower maintenance costs by preventing water hammer and corrosion, which can damage pipes and equipment. Regular operation without issues means fewer repairs and replacements are needed, saving time and money. At NTVAL, our Steam Traps are designed to provide reliable performance with minimal maintenance.
Enhanced Safety
Steam Traps play a critical role in maintaining system safety by preventing the buildup of condensate and air. It efficiently removes water and can prevent pressure build-up that might otherwise cause a pipe to burst. This reduces the risk of water hammering and other pressure-related issues that could lead to equipment failure or accidents.
Extended Equipment Life
By preventing the buildup of condensate and maintaining proper steam flow, Steam Traps help extend the life of the equipment. They reduce the risk of corrosion and mechanical wear, helping equipment last longer and perform better. Investing in quality Steam Traps can lead to significant savings in equipment replacement costs over time.
