Full Welded Ball Valve Design Features
Seamless Carbon Steel Body
The fully welded ball valve body is designed for maximum strength and minimal weight, offering a compact and streamlined profile.
Stainless Steel Ball
The stainless steel ball is manufactured with extremely tight tolerances, ground to within microns of perfect roundness, ensuring smooth operation and a secure seal.
Optional Locking Device with Position Indicator
A locking device with a position indicator provides instant readability of the valve’s operating position.
Stem Bearings
The stem bearings are made from an electrically conductive material that grounds the stem, preventing static buildup and potential arcing.
Seat Seals
The seals, made from 25% carbonized PTFE (Teflon) (G-453), provide a tight seal while allowing for easy, low-torque, quarter-turn operation.
Stainless Labels
Each valve is permanently marked with stainless steel labels, color-coded and stamped with traceable serial numbers.
Seat Quality Features
- Do not absorb water, and does not expand
- Chemical resistant
- High friction characteristics
- Good temperature stability
- Tested and approved up to 250℃

Structure Features
1. Integral Valve Structure
The valve is constructed from forged steel, and welded into an integral structure. The forging materials undergo ultrasonic examination in compliance with ASME nondestructive flaw detection standards. The welding slope on the connection face is tested using liquid penetration methods.
2. Corrosion Resistance And Sulfide Stress Resistance
3. Welding Of Transition Pipe
During the production of the fully welded pipeline ball valve, a transition pipe can be welded to the welding ends. The transition pipe can be provided either by the user or by our company based on user specifications. When placing orders, please specify the diameter and length (A) of the transition pipe.

Features of Full Welded Ball Valve
Integral Valve Structure
Full welded ball valves have an integral valve structure, meaning the body is made from a single piece of material. This design eliminates potential weak points, enhancing the valve's strength and durability. The integral structure offers better performance under high pressure and temperature conditions.
Sulfide Stress Resistance
These valves are designed to resist sulfide stress, which is crucial in environments with high levels of hydrogen sulfide. The materials used and the construction methods let the valve be strong and functional even under harsh conditions. This resistance helps prevent cracking and failure, allowing the longevity of the valve.
Welding Of Transition Pipe
The welding of the transition pipe in full welded ball valves offers a seamless connection with the pipeline. This feature reduces the risk of leaks and improves the overall integrity of the fluid control system. It all boils down to this: the welded connection provides a smooth flow path, minimizing pressure loss.
Benefits of Full Welded Ball Valve
Enhanced Durability
The integral structure of full welded ball valves makes them durable. They can withstand high pressure and temperature without compromising performance. This durability means fewer replacements and lower maintenance costs over time. NTVAL valves are built to last, providing long-term value for demanding industrial projects.
Improved Safety
Full welded ball valves offer improved safety due to their sturdy construction and sulfide stress resistance. They are less likely to fail under harsh conditions, reducing the risk of accidents. This reliability is crucial for industries where safety is a top priority. These valves are often used in oil and gas pipelines where leak prevention is essential.
Efficient Operation
The seamless welding of the transition pipe offers efficient operation by reducing leaks and pressure drops. This leads to smoother fluid flow and better system performance. The efficiency of these valves contributes to energy savings and reduced operational costs.
